The Woman You Are

Woman, full of splendour, created with unique beauty.

Woman, whose worth the Lord describes as far above rubies.

Woman, the seed bearer, multiplier and helper.
Woman, empowered with visions for nations.
Woman, the raiser of giants and nurturer of kings.
Woman, designed to lead chariots and warriors, bringing home victory.

On your head is a crown.
On your body is purple linen.
In your left hand is a golden sword.
In your right hand is a jar of oil.

The crown signifies that you belong to a kingdom—a royalty indeed, the kingdom of the Sovereign One.
The purple linen represents your identity as royalty and modestly covers your body, the temple of the Holy Spirit, which must remain undefiled.
The golden sword symbolises your valour, your strength to defend, fight, and conquer.
The jar of oil signifies your office and assignment as a raiser, builder, and nurturer of visionaries.

You were not made from dust but from a man’s rib. How peculiar and precious you are to the one who is to be your partner! How perfectly you were created to be a suitable helper and complement.

You bear an identity that reflects the Holy Spirit—“Helper.”

Have you noticed your physical features, dear woman?
Your countenance radiates the divine craftsmanship of the Creator, with each detail fashioned with care and grace.

You are not ordinary.
You were created with intentionality in God’s mind.

Through you, every seed—every offspring—is birthed on earth to accomplish God’s will.
Remember Mary? The virgin who bore the Saviour and Sovereign One.
Yes, she! She was a woman like you.

And Esther? The young woman who found favour with King Ahasuerus, risked her life to save her people, and became a queen.
Yes, she! She was a woman like you.

And so many other great women in scripture and history stand as examples.

I want you to know this that you are unique and Jesus loves you.

He calls you to live for Him and fulfil what has been written about you in the volume of the books.
