In today's post, we will delve into a powerful and evocative piece aimed at inspiring you to unravel your spiritual potential and bloom. "Blooming," in the context of today's post and generally in a metaphorical sense, goes beyond simply growing; it signifies a complete and vibrant unfolding of your full potential. Let's dive in!
**********************
Dear Woman,
Something resides deep inside you that seeks to find expression; it aims to bloom. It is not of physical or natural substance but of eternal and supernatural relevance. It does not reside in your physical body but rather locked up in your spirit. Your spirit is the candle of the Lord, which searches the inner depths of your heart, and you can, as a result, discover all that you are and bring into reality all God has made you.
However, if your candle is not lit, it is impossible to reveal all you are. Knowing who you are and all God has made you is not far-fetched. All that is required is to have your candle (spirit) lit up. So, if your spirit is the candle of the Lord, how can you have your candle lit up?
God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all. God is the light that is needed to light you up. If you remain in a dark state (the nature of sin), you will remain ignorant of who you are. Darkness blinds and robs one of the ability to see who they truly are.
That which seeks expression in you, that which seeks to bloom in you will remain in a dead state unless it receives the life of God which becomes light to all that should come alive in you and become a reality.
You might be wondering if anything really seeks to bloom in you. Indeed! You are not ordinary, and all that you are must be realised. Some of the signs that show that all you are is seeking to bloom or find expression are:
A pressing dissatisfaction with your current state: You constantly feel like there is more to you that you must unravel. You might not know what it is, but you feel like there is something you need to know.
An increased desire to know God: You just want to know God. You feel an intense desire to get closer to God, and this is because God is your source and the only One who can provide answers to all your questions. You might not know how to go about it, but deep down, there's a desire to connect with your Maker.
Unresolved curiosity: Having persistent questions or curiosities about yourself, your purpose, or your place in the world.
Discovering new things about yourself: You begin to realise new things about yourself. It begins to seem as though some residing potential begins to come alive.
These signs are pointers that your true self yearns to emerge and these signs are majorly inspired by God as He draws you close to Himself.
So why remain low and dry if you can bloom? Why choose the dark state that keeps one blind when you can possess the light that sets free and reveals who you are? Dear woman, I encourage you to bloom. Have your candle lit up and bloom!
You cannot afford to wallow in your fallen state. You cannot afford to remain in a state of self-pity and self-condemnation. Rise up, get lit up and bloom! Shake off the dust that has gathered on you for so long! There is something that you are of which you must come into and become. Connect with the Light and become the light.
To get lit up, come meet the Light. He is light personified, and His name is Jesus. He wants to light you up and cause you to bloom. It might seem like everything about you is parched, but rejoice because I introduce you to Jesus, the One who can make you bloom.
If you would like to bloom, declare these words with faith in your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that you are light and only you can make me bloom. I ask that you come into my life and take away every hindrance to my transformation on this day. I dedicate my life to you and accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Amen."
If you said that prayer, congratulations to you! Welcome to the great family of God!
See you in the next post! 😉💖
