Far Above Rubies

Rubies are precious gemstones and often used as a symbol of love, passion, luxury, nobility, courage, strength, wisdom and knowledge.

Rubies of high quality are generally more valuable than diamonds of similar size and quality due to their rarity, hardness and deep red colour.

Rubies are a whole lot worth more than diamonds. They are also much rarer than diamonds.

The deep red colour of rubies is highly priced.

What makes the diamond seem as though it is of more value than rubies is due to its market demand, wide availability, marketing efforts and brand recognition (e.g De Beers).

In terms of price range, rubies are more expensive. For the large size of rubies and diamond;

RUBIES

Large: (2-5 carats) $200,000 - $100,000 per carats.

DIAMONDS

Large: (2-5 carats) $100,000 - $50,000 per carats.

Proverbs 31:10

"Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies."

Dear woman, whom the Lord has called one whose worth is far above rubies.

When the Lord called you one whose worth is far above rubies, He knew just how much worth He put in you that the rubies in all its uniqueness can never beat.

You are worth more than rubies! You cannot be bought! You are priceless! You are the daughter of the King!

So when next I call you far above rubies, you should respond to it with all consciousness because that's who you are!

You might be wondering, "really?"

Yes, dear woman. You might have gone through life challenges that put you in a state of degradation, isolation and pity. But in the real sense, you are priceless, more than rubies at that!

You have been bought with a price by the blood of Jesus.

He has nailed every record of debt that stood against you with its legal demand on the cross of calvary.

All you need to do is claim who you are in Christ. He calls you the "one whose worth is far above rubies."

He made you of so much worth by His blood of which He shed on the cross of calvary.

The ruby in all its uniqueness and grandeur cannot beat the worth God has placed in you.

Come home to Jesus, dear woman.

There is worth to be re-established!

It's simple! 

Romans 10:9

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Say these words: "Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner, and that you died on the cross of calvary so I would have life. Please, forgive me my sins and make me your own. Help me  live in the consciousness that I am yours, and one whose worth is far above rubies. Amen."

Do I have a "Far Above Rubies" here?
