Born into a world without scars, metamorphosing into a giant without a barrier. Growing in height and scaling in depth, spreading wings and mounting hilltops, dreaming on, not holding back and scribbling every moment that held an ounce of delight, fulfilment and satisfaction. This was the beginning of a woman who had a purpose to fulfil.
As she journeyed through life, her experiences took a dramatic turn. Advancing in years and getting to know the real world, she realised that the seemingly good things were nothing to hold on to. Every nook and corner of the world was filled with filth. It had fangs ready to sting anyone who dared to dream or make steps to live a fulfilling life. Her energy level began to dwindle. What used to motivate her became dead to her.
“No one told me life was this hard!” She exclaimed in agitation and pain, as life constantly hit her with heavy blows. It was as if the heavy yoke of the world was crushing her, and she felt powerless to stop it.
But amid her struggles, she stumbled upon a glimmer of hope. “Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” These words tucked away in the Scriptures gave comfort to her weary soul. She wondered if there was a person who could bear the burdens that brought her so low and made a mess of her life.
As she surrendered to this newfound hope, something remarkable happened. Alas! The journey into chasing a thousand was kick-started as she received the strength to confront the challenges that seemed to confront her.
“Blessed be God who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight!” She daily exclaimed in victory as she gained strength to overcome the challenges that were seemingly impossible to overcome. Like a one-man army, she overcame all odds and became whole again. Chasing a thousand was no longer just a dream; it was her reality.
This incredible victory is attributed to divine intervention. Now, she was ready to face her destiny head-on, knowing she was not alone.
Dear woman, are there pains from the past you're yet to heal from? Are you struggling to return to your feet after that great fall? Are you seeking light and life again? Your liberty isn't far-fetched. It's right in the finished works of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Are you willing to drop the burdens and chase a thousand? Seize this opportunity and surrender all to Jesus Christ.
As you embark on this journey, remember that you're not alone. Declare with faith:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that you died on the cross of Calvary for my sake, that I may have life. I ask that you forgive my sins and make me yours. I let go of every burden and receive strength to chase a thousand, fulfil destiny and conquer the devil. Amen.
