THE UNIQUENESS OF A WOMAN

Male and female did God create every living thing on earth, ranging from humans to animals to plants and even microorganisms. The male and female possess different characteristics, features, roles, and behavioural patterns. The male cannot be a female, nor can the female be a male.

Now, this is not about shooting some hormones into the body system to bring about changes in the physique of an individual. There is something deeper than the physique which makes up the male and the female.

The lack of understanding of the uniqueness of both genders and the deficit of identity in individuals has brought about the whole idea of wanting to be different from the sex they were assigned at birth, which the world calls transgender. And, of course, it is an act of rebellion. Really, it’s like saying God, in all His wisdom, didn't know what gender to create them as. It is an insult to the person of God. And yes, there is a consequence for rebellion if there is no repentance.

What makes a female isn’t the physical features alone, and likewise, the male.

The woman was not created from the dust of the ground like the man was. The woman was created from the ribs of a man, and that brought about the name “woman” (Genesis 2:21-23). This is the first uniqueness.

Why the ribs?  The rib signifies neither subservience nor dominance but a side-by-side partnership, a relationship of equals to work and live together. God used existing tissue rather than starting from scratch to show that Adam and Eve were made of the same substance. No wonder he called her "flesh of his flesh and bone of his bones!"

She carried God’s image and likeness, just as Adam did. So yes, women were created in the image and likeness of God as well.

God deliberately fashioned the woman as a companion and help suitable for Adam. It was to signify that the woman was created to be beside man, not as an inferior being, but together to be heirs of the grace of life (1 Peter 3:7).

The woman was like an upgraded version of the man, making her twice the general makeup of the man. The woman was made as the other half to complete the man. The man and the woman complement one another, not the man and the man or vice versa. This is also the very foundation of intimacy and love between the man and the woman. It established what we call soulmates.

But again, the devil did what he’s good at—perversion. And why? To cause humans to rebel against God. Anything man does against the original standards of God or His will is rebellion, and there is a consequence for that.

The man is the supplier of the seeds; the woman is the conceiver and multiplier of the seeds. The coming together of a man and woman in marriage results in oneness and the fulfilment of the word “be fruitful and multiply.” God put in the woman what was lacking in the man to bring about the fulfilment of His word. This is another unique thing.

Dear woman, you are a life-giver and a nourisher. You are a life-giver in the sense that you bring about the existence of life, a child. You are so pivotal in the program of God, and so He has entrusted you with the responsibility of preserving a life for nine months and giving birth to this life after nine months are over. Every child sent to Earth has a destiny to fulfill. You are a channel through which God sends to earth the very solution the world needs. From your very body, will you feed a child until the child is mature enough to eat solid food? From your very body come the most important nutrients a child needs to be nourished.

No man can do this. This is another unique thing.

There are more unique qualities to you, dear woman, which we’ll explore in the next blog post. Stay tuned!

I hope this blesses you. 😀💖
